Riddhima Karwa Programme Associate
Research interests
Riddhima is a development professional and a graduate in Mathematics. She has a keen interest in behaviour change communication and sustainable living.Her work at Do-No Trash primarily focuses on creating content for citizens that will enable them to switch to sustainable living practices easily.
Academic background
- PGP in Development Leadership in 2019 from Indian School of Development Management (ISDM), Noida, India.
- BA (Mathematics) in 2017 from Shri Dev Suman University, India.
Activities at NSI
At NSI Riddhima works as a Project Co-ordinator for the project Environment Education in Primary Schools Of Uttarakhand.
She is closely involved in developing approaches to communicate the importance of garbage segregation among the public at large through the Do-No-Trash platform. Her work includes:
- Creating and handling social media content for Do-No Trash across various platforms
- Content Development for the 30-Day Plastic-Free Challenge
- Co-ordinating various workshops held at NSI such as Conscious Building, Leaf Composting and Health and Wellness Workshops
- Running social media campaings on leaf burning
- Content creation, co-ordination and promotion for the Lockdown Challenge which focused on sustainable practices such as pit and pot composting and making bioenzymes at home
